Several research institutes in the world are engaged in the study of draught animal power exploited in rotary mode i.e. with the animal that turns around in a circular path.
This power is utilized by farmers to move pumps or other rural equipments.
There is a significant bibliography of the researches in progress on the matter. Part of it is here presented.
Further, several centers in the world are engaged - in the working animal sector - in the vocational training for the education of farmers of the developing countries.
The most significant publication on the hundreds million working animals, engaged in agriculture, is represented by the volume 20-2013 of Integrated Crop Management that is on Mechanization for Rural Development: A review of patterns and progress from around the world , published by the FAO.
