Several research institutes in the world are engaged in the study of draught animal power exploited in rotary mode i.e. with the animal that turns around in a circular path.

This power is utilized by farmers to move pumps or other rural equipments.

There is a significant bibliography of the researches in progress on the matter. Part of it is here presented.
